Montella is built to keep your Kanban board local. We avoid collecting personal data and ask only for the permissions needed to run in your new tab.
What we store
Your tasks, columns, and settings are saved locally in your browser storage. They remain on your device unless you choose to export or back them up.
What we don't collect
We do not collect or sell your task data. We do not read your browsing history or page contents.
Permissions
Montella requests only what it needs to replace your new tab and manage data in that tab. No additional site access is required.
Analytics and tracking
We do not run tracking scripts in your new tab. If optional, privacy-respecting analytics are added in the future, they will be opt-in.
Security and your choices
Because data is local, your device security and browser profile protect it. You can clear Montella data anytime by removing the extension or clearing site data for the extension.
Changes
Privacy details may evolve as we add features. We'll update this page, and continued use means you accept the current policy.
